Names released in Forest Grove fatal Crash
Forest Grove Police - 04/09/14
The Forest Grove Police Department is releasing the names of the individuals involved in the fatal crash this morning on 18th Avenue.
The deceased was 49 y/o J T Mercado-Nuno of Hillsboro. The other injured individual was 27 y/o Scott B. Bafaro of Portland. Bafaro was transported to the hospital by private vehicle with non-life threatening injuries and has since been released. Both victims were employed by Oregon Green Thumb Landscape Maintenance out of Forest Grove and were in the process of unloading equipment from a work trailer when the crash occured.
The driver of the vehicle was 25 y/o Eric Adam MacDonald of Forest Grove.
This crash is still under investigation by Forest Grove detectives along with members of the Washington County Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team. No citations have been issued.
