OSP Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of 2 Washington Men, Seizure of 1/2 Pound of Methamphetamine - Highway 97 north of Redmond

Two men were arrested early Wednesday morning during an Oregon State Police (OSP) traffic stop about four miles north of Redmond after the trooper discovered approximately a half pound of methamphetamine concealed in their vehicle.
On January 23, 2013 at approximately 2:24 a.m., an OSP trooper stopped a 2014 Hyundia Elantra displaying Washington license plates for unspecified traffic violations. The vehicle was occupied by two men identified as YEON J. CHUNG, age 32, and COREY L. CAMP, age 38, both from Seattle, Washington.
Subsequent investigation during the traffic stop, with the assistance of a drug detection canine, led the trooper to discover approximately a half pound of methamphetamine concealed in the car.
Both men were taken into custody for Unlawful Possession and Distribution of a Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine and lodged in the Deschutes County Jail.
