In the early morning hours, 2 semi-trucks full of food boxes, hygiene and household products will be unloaded in the Eastport Plaza parking lot, located at 4000 SE 82nd Ave., Portland, OR 97266. Families who meet the requirements for food assistance can pick up a voucher between now and July 9th, 2013 at three of The Salvation Army Corps in the Portland Metropolitan area (addresses listed below). A voucher must be present in order to receive food, hygiene, and household products. Then, on July 10th, 2013, the families can bring these vouchers to the Eastport Plaza parking lot, where Eastport Plaza has generously permitted The Salvation Army to stage this mass distribution.

The pre-packaged boxes are likely to contain canned foods and other non-perishable items, household products such as paper towels and toilet paper, hygiene items like soap and deodorant, household cleaners, and more. Staff and around 80 volunteers, many from Wells Fargo, will be on site throughout the course of the day unloading boxes and helping families to their cars.
