George pled guilty to charges of Manslaughter in the First Degree and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
Paden was killed at Northeast 60th Avenue and Killingsworth Street in the afternoon of March 27, 2013. Officers responded to 9-1-1 calls about a shooting at the Valero Gas Station and located Paden deceased.
Portland Police Bureau Homicide detectives worked diligently to develop leads in the case, which led to an indictment for murder by a Multnomah County Grand Jury.
George was arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada in February 2014 by the Last Vegas FBI Criminal Apprehension Team (CAT) and later extradited to Oregon.
