Five suspects were arrested and a large amount of methamphetamine as well as cash and guns were seized. This investigation started approximately ten months ago and centered on a drug trafficking organization that was trafficking methamphetamine out of several auto related businesses in the Hazel Dell area. The main suspect in the case, Daladier Torres Ambriz, 33, is believed to be responsible for bringing large amounts of methamphetamine from Mexico to Clark County where it was distributed through a network of people at the auto repair businesses. Task force detectives observed numerous drug transactions over the course of the ten-month long investigation. The first search warrants were served at around 6:00 AM at the Clark County homes of several suspects and included 3415 P St, 3400 NE 66th Ct #C7, and 10808 NE 96th St. Daladier Torres Ambriz and Felix Eduardo Ambriz Rodriguez, 26, were taken into custody at the 10808 NE 96th St address. Evidence seized at this location included approximately $30,000 in cash, paper documents reflecting cash transfers to Mexico, as well as four cars which were used in the delivery of controlled substances. Jose B. Toscano, 20, and Jose Gabriel Aguilar, 21, were taken into custody at 3415 P Street. Evidence seized at this address included cellphones, paper documents reflecting cash transfers to Mexico, a car used to deliver controlled substances, as well as one handgun. Beningo Blasquez Moreno, 18, was taken into custody at 3400 NE 66th Ct #C7. Evidence seized at this location included approximately 2 Â1/2 pounds of methamphetamine, notes documenting drug transactions, a drug scale, cellphones, and a laptop computer. Additional evidence at the scene revealed that this location was being used to convert methamphetamine from a liquid form to a crystal form. Additional search warrants were served at the business locations in Hazel Dell. These addresses include 1103 NE 95th St #B, #C, and #D. A search warrant was also served at 1017 NE 95th St #D1. These addresses are all small warehouse style shops in a commercial area on NE 95th Street west of Highway 99. These locations are believed to be where methamphetamine was held for daily deliveries throughout Clark County. On several occasions the drug task force arranged for the delivery of methamphetamine and watched as the methamphetamine order was driven from a shop location to the location of the drug buy. After the delivery, the suspect delivering the drugs would drive back to the shop locations. Evidence seized at the shop locations included six additional handguns, one of which was reported stolen in a burglary, about two ounces of methamphetamine, a drug scale, and drug packaging materials. "Although these businesses appeared to be legitimate, they were in fact simply fronts for a large drug trafficking organization," said task force commander Mike Cooke. "Although they may have repaired a few cars here and there, the main business was trafficking methamphetamine." All five suspects were transported and booked at the Clark County Jail on charges related to the delivery of controlled substances and possession of controlled substances with intent to deliver. Daladier Torres Ambriz was charged with an additional charge of leading organized crime. The Clark County Sheriff's Office Tactical Detective Unit and the Vancouver Police Department's Neighborhood Response Team assisted the task force with the execution of the search warrants. Two photos are attached to this press release. The first shows a thermos type container in which liquid methamphetamine has been allowed to harden and crystalize. The second picture shows the solid chunk of methamphetamine after being removed from the container. This chunk of meth weighs approximately 2 Â1/2 pounds and has a street value of approximately $30,000.
