Beaverton Police Department - 07/02/13

On July 2nd at 2:05 am Beaverton Police responded to the report of an armed robbery that just occurred at Dotty's Deli located at 2654 SW Cedar Hills Blvd. Officers contacted the employee who advised he was just robbed at gunpoint by a masked suspect. The employee stated that he was outside having a smoke when the suspect approached him and put a gun in his back and led him back into the business. The employee said the suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the business and fled. Officers searched the area and did a K9 track but the suspect was not located.
The suspect is described as a darker skinned male who spoke with an Hispanic accent, approximately 5'8" with a thin build, wearing a black hoody style sweatshirt pulled up over his head, dark pants and a dark bandana which he had pulled up over his face. The gun is described as all black and smaller in size.
Beaverton Police are asking that anybody with any information about this robbery call the Beaverton Police at 503.629.0111.
