Seven Pounds of Methamphetamine Seized in Traffic Stop Beaverton Police Department

08/17/13 Photo 3 http://www.flashalertnewswire.net/images/news/2013-08/1412/66853/thumb_IMG_0006.JPGOn Saturday, August 17, 2013 at approximately 3:00 p.m. Beaverton police officers made traffic stop on HWY 26 at NW Cornelius Pass Rd. During the traffic stop the officers established probable cause that drugs might be inside the vehicle. A police K9 was brought in and a search of the stopped vehicle showed that there was methamphetamine inside the vehicle. A complete search of the vehicle disclosed approximately seven pound of methamphetamine. The driver was identified as Jose Ortiz-Ledezma 30 years of age from Mexico. Ortiz-Ledezma was charged with possession of a controlled substance, distribution of a controlled substance, manufacturing of a controlled substance and has been lodged at the Washington County Jail. ###BPD### Attached Media Files: Press Release , Photo 3 , Photo 2 , Photo 1
