On Thursday, patrol deputies and detectives from the Washington County Sheriff's Office along with FBI and Tigard Police law enforcement, conducted a prostitution sting operation and arrested seven people.
On Thursday, September 19, 2013, from 4:00 pm to 1:00 am, an undercover prostitution sting was conducted at a local hotel on SW Canyon Road in the community of West Slope. The operation consisted of deputies posing as clients and responding to ads on local (Beaverton Listings) escort web pages. When the suspects showed up to complete the deal they were arrested and charged with prostitution.
The Sheriff's Office launched the mission after patrol deputies noted a high amount of prostitution-related activity at the hotel and in the area surrounding it.
Seven people were arrested during the operation, five for prostitution, one for promoting prostitution, and one for unrelated warrants. The names of the suspects and their charges are listed below. They were all booked into the Washington County Jail.
* Erianna L. Jones (18-YO from Portland) charged with Prostitution
* Cherish Crone (30-YO from Portland) charged with Prostitution
* Aleigha Self (20-YO from Portland) charged with Prostitution
* Lakeshia Rivers (18-YO from Portland) charged with Prostitution
* Yaminah Oddie-Johnson (21-YO from Aloha) charged with Prostitution
* Todd Rutherford (22-YO from Portland) charged with Promoting Prostitution
* Terrel Lowery (33-YO from Portland) arrested on warrants out of Multnomah County
