All illegals will have to do is pay a small fine and they will have a green card. Really simple.
So I ask, why isn't Congress rushing to give the same Special Treatment to Americans who have gone through foreclosure, credit problems, student loans and small crimes? Why not push a bill through Congress wiping the slate clean so that we can come out of the shadows and not live in fear of collection agencies and the cops?
I am sure you know that it is impossible to manage an amnesty in a sane fair manner especially since the US has not managed enforcing any of its immigration laws up to this time. It's more like a mass anarchy. Why isnt there an amnesty proposed for Americans who have broken the laws? Shouldnt we all be able to wipe the slate clean?
