On January 28, 2013, at about 3:30pm, the Keybank Sunnyside branch, located at 12550 SE 82nd Avenue, Clackamas, was the victim of a robbery.
The suspect approached a teller, held a large silver knife to an adult female customer's throat, and demanded money.
The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then fled from the bank in an unknown direction on foot. He was not seen entering a vehicle.
The customer was not physically injured in the robbery.
Multiple deputies from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office arrived in the area within two minutes of being dispatched. A K9 deputy and deputies from the Happy Valley Police Department assisted in the unsuccessful search for the suspect.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, 5'6-5'8" tall, thin build, dark hair, dark eyes, and a wispy moustache. He was wearing a dark grey or black track style jacket with an "S" on the front left chest area.
The suspect was armed with a large silver colored knife.
Detectives from the Clackamas County Sheriffs Office are investigating the robbery.
