WOODBURN - On Friday, July 19 at approximately 4:20 p.m. the Woodburn Police Department responded to a call of an armed robbery that had just occurred at Casa Mexico, which is located at 990 N. Pacific Highway.

The suspect was described as a light-skinned Hispanic male adult, about 5-foot-6 to 5-8 with a medium build and was wearing dark clothing.
Witnesses said he pointed a handgun at the employee and demanded money. The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen running from the location.
A subsequent search of the area with a K-9 Unit was completed, but the suspect was not found. Although no one was injured in the robbery, the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
