Hernandez Gonzalez-Rodriguez Mexican Latinos Busted with 100 Counterfeit Credit Cards in Illegal Alien Beaverton

On Friday, March 28, 2014 at 4:30pm Nordstrom's Loss Prevention alerted Beaverton Police Detectives about two individuals who were most likely using counterfeit credit cards. The Detectives confirmed the suspects were in fact using counterfeit credit cards and the suspects had targeted several Metro area stores including Nordstrom, Staples, Office Depot, Toys R Us, Burlington Coat Factory, Nordstrom Rack, Dick's Sporting Goods, Sears, JC Penney, and TJ Maxx. 

On Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 5:20pm, Beaverton Police Detectives arrested Yasser Hernandez 28 years of age and Raul Gonzalez-Rodriguez 26 years of age at the Avis Car Rental located at the Portland International Airport. The suspects were attempting to change rental cars when they were arrested. 

Hernandez and Gonzalez-Rodriguez are both from Miami, FL and arrived in Portland on March 26, 2014. Beaverton Police Detectives recovered over 100 counterfeit credit cards and other documents containing credit card numbers and the available credit on each card. Also recovered was over $10,000.00 in gift cards, cash, high end watches, fragrances, electronics, and other items. 
Hernandez and Gonzalez-Rodriguez were both lodged at the Washington County Jail for Aggravated ID Theft with more charges pending. Gonzalez-Rodriguez also had an extraditable warrant out of Idaho for the same crimes.
