On March 6th at approximately 1630hrs, officers from the Forest Grove and Cornelius Police Departments along with deputies from the Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a gang fight involving 10-15 individuals. The fight was reported at Bard Park which is located in the 2800 block of 22nd Avenue in Forest Grove.

Upon arrival officers found a victim who had been stabbed three times. While medical personnel provided aid to the victim, officers searched the area for individuals involved who had scattered away from the scene. While looking for involved participants, officers located a subject who was armed with a loaded .38 caliber revolver. Officers found second subject who was also armed at a point with the same weapon. Both subjects, 15y/o and 17y/o males were arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. The weapon was seized. Further investigation resulted in recovery of additional weapons in the area including a baseball bat, several knives and a crowbar.

The stabbing victim, an 18y/o male, was transported to Legacy Emanuel Hospital. His injuries do not appear life threatening. The suspect(s) are still outstanding and no description is available at this time.

This incident follows a recent increase in problems with graffiti throughout Western Washington County. The Inter-Agency Gang Enforcement Team (IGET) is assisting Forest Grove officers with the ongoing investigation
