We're often asked what else can be done to try and stop the Gang of Eight's amnesty bill, S.744, after all faxes have been sent and phone calls to Senate offices are made.
I'd like to tell you about a fairly new online communications tool that, like our faxing system, sends messages directly to Congress. POPVOX.com bridges the gap between you and your Members of Congress. NumbersUSA is a registered organization with POPVOX and our bill analyses are posted on their website, including our analysis of S.744.
With S.744, we're currently winning the battle on POPVOX! Their system has sent 7,800 messages to Congress, and 91% of them have been in opposition to the bill. As the bill heads to the Senate floor over the next week, we'd like nothing more than to see the Schumer-Rubio-Obama Amnesty be the most discussed bill on POPVOX and for the opposition numbers to soar!
POPVOX is not affiliated with NumbersUSA, so in order to vote and submit your message to Congress, you'll have to create an account with POPVOX. Accounts are easy to setup, and if you're on a social network site like Facebook, you can sign in through one of those networks.
