landscape maintenance laborer (Tualatin)

General laborer needed for small company. We do basic yard maintenance, such as mowing, weeding, raking, pruning, blowing, etc. We normally work 10 hour days, four days a week (tues-fri). This is seasonal work that generally ends once all the leaves are cleaned up the 1st week of December. You normally will work between 20 and 40 hours per week, typically 40 hours. The ideal canidate for this job will be flexible. The work load tends to shift around during the season. As this is a seasonal job, there is no sick leave, vacation pay, or health insurance. I do pay my year round employees some holiday and vacation pay.
You should be in good physical condition, and able to work steadily the entire shift. We don't hurry! A steady pace is sufficient. You need a strong back to do this job. You need to be safety oriented, polite, considerate, and proud of your work. If you speak Spanish, that is a plus. You need to be reliable, and have good references.
This is a trainee job, but if you have verifiable experience, I will pay you more. You can stay a common laborer for years if you like, or you can advance, as far as you would like. If you are a good driver with trailer experience, I may have more opportunities for you.
This job requires you to get to Tualatin by 7 in the morning. The time will vary come October as the light shrinks.
